The Division of the Science and Mathematics may need Lecturers/Assistant Professors or Teaching Specialists to teach on a short-term and/or temporary basis during the 2024-25 academic year (August 12, 2024 to May 11, 2025) in one or more of the following areas:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Computer Science
- Environmental Science
- Geology
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Statistics
About the Job
- The primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses.
- Some service and research activity may be expected.
Required/Preferred Qualifications
- Essential Academic Preparation = Ph.D. or terminal degree for Lecturers, MA/MS or BA/BS for Teaching Specialists.
- Candidates must have academic preparation appropriate to the specialized teaching field, and must present evidence of successful teaching.
- Though clear emphasis is on successful teaching, consideration will be given to scholarly attainment of other professional recognition or distinction in the teaching field.
