Aircraft Painter - Military Veterans

OVERVIEW:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Helicopter Painter with experience in paint preparation and the application of coatings on riveted helicopters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the painting process, including surface preparation, masking, and the use of specialized tools and materials. This role requires a commitment to quality, precision, and safety in all painting tasks.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare helicopter surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking, ensuring all surfaces are properly prepped for paint application.
  
  
• Apply primers, paints, and finishes to helicopters, with a focus on achieving a high-quality, durable finish.
  
  
• Work with a variety of coatings and materials, including high-performance aerospace paints.
  
  
• Inspect completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  
  
• Perform touch-ups and repairs on painted surfaces as needed.
  
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  
  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  
  
• Document work performed, including detailed records of materials used and processes followed.
  
  

• 4+ years of aircraft painting experience
  
  
• Proven experience in helicopter painting, specifically with riveted helicopters.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of paint preparation techniques, including sanding, cleaning, and masking.
  
  
• Familiarity with aerospace coatings, paints, and application techniques.
  
  
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  
  
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  
  
• Must pass a standard DOT drug test AND criminal background check.
  
  
• US Citizenship required
