POSITION DESCRIPTION
DUTIES

Provide expert project management support in the areas of scheduling, estimating, planning, project execution and strategic planning.

Perform major organization assessments, project leadership assessments, and NNSA HQ interface to the SRPPF organization.

Provide mentoring to project/program managers and project control personnel in 413.38 implementation, project execution, Independent Project Reviews (IRR), Annual Project Reviews (APR) and EVMS.

Lead and/or participate in major project reviews such as contractor red/green team reviews ahead of IPRs, APRs, ICE, preliminary/final design and CD-3x packages submittals.

Provide consultation on all aspects of the plutonium facility operations to include multi-shift operations, BG operations (acquisition/operability/constructability), waste management and radiological operations.

Advise and support management in development of integrated team structure, leading identification of mission objectives and performance evaluation.

Provide oversight of support operations, possible involving multiple projects and groups of personnel.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Master's degree in a technical field with 25 years broad experience in engineering, operations, marketing, strategic and business planning, or a bachelor's degree in a technical field with 30 years' experience as described above.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment,
  • Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
  • 20+ years experience working in plutonium facilities or on plutonium projects.
  • 15+ years of DOE 413.3B PM experience.
  • 5+ years of NNSA/DOE Capital Line-Item Projects


Desired Qualifications
  • Possession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years is preferred.
  • 10+ years at the Savannah River Site.
  • PMP Certification.
  • PE License in the state of SC.


PF-81 Evaluation Criteria:
- Price and Cost to Company: 20%
- Technical Acceptability: 10%
- Availability & Qualifications of Personnel: 20%- Prior experience as a Fellow Technical Advisor for major Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) project subject to DOE Order 413.3B,Program and Project Management for the acquisition of Capital Assets.
- Availability & Qualifications of Personnel: 20%- Prior DOE, NNSA, SRS/SRNS, Fellow Technical Advisor Experience
- Availability & Qualifications of Personnel: 20%- Possession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years / ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" clearance.
- Availability & Qualifications of Personnel: 10%- Availability of candidate to mobilize and begin execution of the duties of the position.

Duration of the Contract:
ONE (1) YEAR WITH THE OPTION TO EXTEND FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEAR OPTION YEARS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED JOB DESCRIPTION.

Estimated Hours Per Year: 2000 ST/ 600 OT

Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 6am-430pm

Onsite or Remote? 50%onsite & 50% remote. (This is subject to change depending on business needs) Candidate must live within 200-mile radius.
