Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, M TO F
Position Type: Temporary (6 months)


Job Description:
As a Medical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling medical devices in a clean room environment, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production goals. This role requires fine motor skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict procedures.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Assemble medical devices on two or more product lines, meeting or exceeding production rate standards.

  • Follow written procedures and ensure compliance with Quality System Policies.

  • Maintain accurate manufacturing records, including Device History Records, Data Sheets, and Lot Control.

  • Follow supervisor or lead instructions related to job priorities, schedules, and standards.

  • Adapt to changes in procedures and learn new processes related to product line updates.

  • Crosstrain on various product line operations and assist in training colleagues as needed.

  • Apply LEAN Manufacturing principles to improve production metrics.

  • Report material shortages to supervisors and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices are followed, including ergonomics, tool handling, and preventive maintenance.

  • Maintain reliable attendance, work overtime if required, and avoid unnecessary distractions in the work area.

  • Participate in shared leadership tasks, including Kanban management and metrics board maintenance.



Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2 to 3 years of medical device assembly experience.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

  • Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and LEAN Manufacturing is preferred.

  • Fine motor skills and high dexterity for assembling small parts and subassemblies.

  • Experience using manufacturing equipment such as microscopes, ultrasonic welders, soldering irons, dial calipers, and pressure gauges.

  • Basic MS Windows and PC program knowledge required for job duties.


This position is temporary, and you will be expected to work in a fast-paced, clean room environment while adhering to strict protocols and maintaining high-quality standards.
