Insurance Customer Service Associate

Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday

Job Summary: As an Insurance Customer Service Associate, you will be integral in delivering outstanding service and support to both internal teams and external clients across a diverse range of insurance products. This includes property & casualty, workers’ compensation, ERISA bonds, BOP, and EPLI. Your role will involve addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction through proactive problem-solving. Staying updated on product offerings, regulatory changes, and industry developments will be essential for enhancing client support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advanced customer service and support for internal and external clients across various insurance products.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s insurance products and services.
Identify, investigate, and resolve user questions and issues, escalating unresolved matters as necessary.
Research and resolve product and service issues related to property & casualty products.
Proactively address client concerns and escalate critical situations to management for prompt resolution.
Cultivate positive and professional relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and stakeholders.
Utilize software applications and online resources proficiently to respond to client inquiries effectively.
Stay informed about changes in internal product offerings, regulatory policies, and industry trends.
Participate actively in assigned projects and training activities.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience or relevant experience in the insurance industry.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in using various software applications and online systems.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations is advantageous.
