We are looking for a talented Production Support Associate - Level IV to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in York, SC.


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:




  • Independent Expertise : By performing highly skilled non-production activities independently, you’ll support manufacturing processes and ensure they meet quality and productivity requirements.


  • Leadership and Coordination : Acting as a formal resource, you’ll lead and coordinate others, providing guidance and support to team members with less capability.


  • Adaptability : Quickly and effectively adapting to changes in the manufacturing environment will help maintain smooth operations and address any challenges that arise.


  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance : By stopping work to report major hazards, complying with HSE standards, and promoting interdependence, you’ll contribute to a safer and more environmentally responsible workplace.


  • Quality Improvement : Following and helping others apply standard work, raising quality concerns, and implementing solutions will minimize costs and exposures while enhancing overall quality.


  • Continuous Improvement : Developing projects that support continuous improvement activities will improve quality, safety, processes, and employee development, driving operational excellence.


  • Effective Communication : Communicating effectively with your team and support teams will ensure that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals, fostering a collaborative environment.

Education/Experience:


High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.


This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.


Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience


QUALIFICATIONS


Additional Information:


This position will oversee about 10 people in our materials detail.


Experience overseeing people is preferred.


This position will also require forklift, shipping, and receiving experience.


Compensation:


Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
