This position assists patrons in locating and accessing library resources, answers questions about the Library and the campus, provides basic reference assistance, checks out/in library materials and assists with processing holds requests. In addition, this position maintains a thorough knowledge of circulation and library policies and interprets and enforces these policies as needed. This position also assists with shelving and stacks maintenance activities. This position processes course reserves including communicating with faculty and preparing course reserve materials for circulation. This position accurately collects library fines and fees and maintains accurate patron financial records. This position supervises student assistants during times the student supervisor is not present directing work assignments. Additionally, this position assists with special projects as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience in library services, office support, or related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
