However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $149,350.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs The Payroll Systems Coordination Supervisor is responsible for leading the Payroll Coordination team's daily operational support activities including the maintenance of the time and attendance reporting processes, coordination of payroll activities with the UCPath Center, shared services centers (SSC), and others. The Supervisor troubleshoots issues and/or cases escalated by team members and/or SSCs to a resolution; reviews and provides guidance on complex payroll financial transactions, complex salary cost transfers, position funding, account reconciliations, complex time reporting, and nonresident alien taxation issues. The Supervisor responds to payroll and financial inquiries from departments, shared services centers, and central offices, escalating issues to the manager and others as appropriate. This position will assist the manager in the planning of payroll activities, time and attendance system administration, month-end and fiscal year-end activities, and other activities as assigned, including coordinating the review of business processes and the testing of system updates. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. Requirements: Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required Experience Requirements 6 - 10 years of related experience. Required Previous supervisory/managerial experience. Preferred Special Conditions Special Must pass a background check. Advanced knowledge of all payroll processes, policies, and procedures; knowledge of organization-specific computer application programs Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of business and process analysis functions. Knowledge relating to the design of processes and software across the organization. Advanced skills and methodologies associated with process and software design, modification and implementation. Knowledge of business analysis processes and procedures and alignment and compliance with applicable policy and regulation. Knowledge of related areas of IT. Demonstrated skill in managing technical staff. Key Responsibilities: Supervises the development of methods and procedures on new assignments and provides leadership to other members of department. Provides specialized expertise to identify, evaluate and develop systems and procedures to meet users' needs.
