SUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate and experienced DEI Program Manager to lead the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts on a large project or for an operating group. In this role, you'll support and implement DEI initiatives of the company at the campus level, partner with various teams and organizations to further DEI efforts and help drive DEI strategy and roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES

On-Site Engagement: Serve as lead for DEI initiatives across key project sites and engage in person with key stakeholders.

DEI Strategy and Implementation: Collaborate with the VP of DEI, DEI Manager, Campus Leadership and other stakeholders in establishment of a DEI strategy, roadmap and implementation plan for a large project or operating group. Leverage experiences and best practices to help inform work. Ensure that campuses are meeting customer expectations.

Cultural Change: Create and implement programs, in concert with project and group leadership and other stakeholders, to help shape a more inclusive and equitable culture on our project sites.

Supplier Diversity: Work to help build a strong alliance with Diverse owned businesses that can be considered when allocating scopes of the project.

Industry Engagement: Participate in various stakeholder groups including, cross-company working groups, external professional groups, customers and competitors, to develop DEI action plans to improve the industry.

Talent Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a Learning and Development plan with respect to DEI, and other talent management initiatives.

Business Resource Groups: Work with DEI leadership to support and help lead strategy and implementation of Business Resource groups on large projects or across an operating group.

Trade Partner / Union Relationships: Develop and execute a strategy to bring DEI awareness and positive culture building with our trade partners and labor union partners to promote a culture of equity and inclusion on project sites.

DEI Tracking: Oversee and assist with tracking and reporting of DEI statistics for our projects, including worker demographics, business entity participation, and DEI training.

DEI Events: Assist in the planning and execution of DEI events on projects with key Stakeholders. Events targeted at celebrating diversity and promoting equity and inclusion.

All other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3 years of DEI related experience required

HR experience - preferred (e.g. Talent acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development)

Knowledge of DEI best practices, strategies, and implementation learnings

Project Management Skills - Ability to develop a detailed plan, stay organized, and get things done

Communication and Collaboration - Ability to work with others to drive alignment, share and obtain insights and move things forward with strong teamwork orientation

Strategic Thinking

Able to organize and prioritize multiple programs and stakeholders

Positive attitude and professional customer service skills

Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback

Empathy and Emotional Intelligence

Ability to travel up to 50%+ and/or travel two to four times per month.

In-Office/in person engagement required at suggested rate of 60+% in office.

Proficiency in PC and widely used software packages, such as MS Office Suite, and HRIS/database and applicant tracking system

Graduate degree

DEI Certification or Continuing Education in DEI Space
