Production Planning Manager - Military Veterans

This Production Planning Manager Position Features:

• Great Pay to $60K

· Daily execution of material and product planning to secure adequate inventory levels while taking into consideration several points, customer needs, lead time, manufacturing capacity and day-to-day operations.

· Responsible for creating product forecasts for all sku’s including seasonal demands and supplier availability

· Plans and prepares production schedules (in a timely manner) for the manufacturing of products.

· Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

· Analyzes production specifications, plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.

· Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

· Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned work.

· Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

· May prepare production reports.

· May prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.

· May prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.

· Understands key cost drivers and provides pricing inputs to the Plant Manager

· Drives improvements in processes, capabilities, and systems within the manufacturing lines.

· Tracks important KPI’s for the different manufacturing lines.

· Supports continuous improvement initiatives.

· Maintains a good line of communication with the Production team.

· Power BI, Pivot Tables, excel knowledge and expertise is a must

· 3-5 years of experience

· Lean Six Sigma certification

· Bachelors in Engineering, Management, Data Programing
