WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Sales Operations Manager will optimize sales processes, ensuring a smooth execution of sales strategies, and improve overall team efficiency. This position involves overseeing sales analytics, managing CRM systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales performance and operational success. Job duties include:









  • Sales Process Optimization:


  • Design, implement, and optimize sales processes and workflows to improve sales productivity and efficiency.


  • Ensure sales team adherence to established processes and identify areas for improvement.


  • Standardize sales methodologies and reporting structures across the organization.


  • Data & Sales Performance Analytics:


  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor team effectiveness.


  • Provide actionable insights to sales leadership based on data analysis.


  • Develop and maintain forecasting models, pipeline reports, and revenue dashboards.


  • CRM & Sales Tools Management:


  • Oversee the administration and optimization of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (e.g., Salesforce).


  • Manage other sales technology tools and ensure their effective use (e.g., sales enablement platforms, lead scoring tools).


  • Ensure data integrity in sales systems, and regularly audit data quality.


  • Proposals and Contract Management:


  • Manage the proposal and contract flow for new business, renewals, and changes in scope or price.


  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting:


  • Own the sales forecasting process, collaborating with sales leadership to create accurate sales projections.


  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue attainment.


  • Assist in developing annual sales plans and setting quotas for sales teams.


  • Compensation & Incentive Plans:


  • In collaboration with HR, design, implement, and manage sales compensation and incentive plans to motivate the sales team and align with business goals.


  • Ensure accurate and timely calculation of commissions, bonuses, and other incentive payouts.


  • Regularly review compensation plans to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market trends.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Work closely with the finance, marketing, and customer success teams to align sales processes with broader company goals.


  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation, qualification, and nurturing strategies.


  • Act as a point of contact between sales and finance to ensure smooth handoffs and accurate revenue recognition.


  • Sales Training & Onboarding:


  • Develop and implement sales training programs and materials to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team.


  • Manage the onboarding process for new sales hires, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to succeed.


  • Facilitate regular training sessions on sales processes, tools, and best practices.


  • Quota Setting & Territory Management:


  • Assist in setting sales quotas and territory assignments based on market potential and sales team capacity.


  • Review territory performance and adjust territory definitions as necessary to maximize revenue.


  • Support the sales team with data and insights to drive territory growth.


  • Change Management & Sales Strategy:


  • Drive adoption of new sales strategies, tools, and processes within the sales organization.


  • Oversee change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption to sales operations.


  • Provide strategic guidance to sales leadership on process improvements, system enhancements, and performance optimization.


  • Other job duties as assigned.






YOUR MUST HAVES:






  • Must be 18 years of age or older.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.


  • 3 or more years of experience in sales operations or a related role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.


  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools.


  • Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement change.








OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
