The Coralville Top Level team is responsible for the build and test of multiple end products supporting our war fighters in the skies and on the ground. In the summer of 2025, we are looking for a driven and passionate summer intern to help support this site.

What You Will Do:

Support production lines by designing tooling and fixturing to improve product quality.
Implement new processes to the area to reduce cycle time of manufacturing.
Create kitting modules to drive value into assembly teams.

What You Will Learn:

Manufacturing support skills
Communication with assembly team as well as IPT and plant leadership.
Hone your problem solving skills

Qualifications You Must Have:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

Solidworks, AutoCAD or other drafting software knowledge

Process Modeling or Manufacturing Simulation experience

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
