Group Leader, Electronic Technician - 5th shift - Military Veterans

5th shift: + $1.10/hr shift differential

MON & FRI 10:00AM 6:00PM
AND
SAT & SUN 10:00AM 10:00PM

Directs a group which
performs the assembly, calibration, adjusting, troubleshooting and repair of a
variety of components, devices and systems according to predetermined
specifications using the appropriate test equipment.

Key Responsibilities


  • Directs a group of employees
    including technicians who perform the assembly, calibration, adjusting,
    troubleshooting and repair of a variety of components, devices and systems at a
    level consistent with the educational requirements stated at the end of this
    job description.

  • Analyze and plan work assignments and
    assign employees accordingly.

  • Instruct
    employees on proper work methods and follow up on those instructions for
    correct performance.

  • Remain current
    on all standards and specifications affecting the group.

  • Prepare necessary paperwork relative to the group.

  • Refer unusual
    problems to supervisor or representatives of other departments.

  • Embrace and engage in the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) including activities, but not limited to Safety & Behavioral Observation Process (BOP), 5S, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Tiered Accountability Process, Standard Work, Rapid Problem Solving (RPS), Built In Quality (BIQ), Coaching, Total productive Maintenance (TPM) and Knowledge Sharing.

  • Handles lightweight parts
    and materials.

  • Works seated or standing.

  • Occasionally handles heavy fixtures.

The annual base salary range for this position is . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE

  • AAS of Electronics Degree, or equivalent 2 year degree,from accredited college or university OR equivalent military training

  • 3+ years of electronic tech industry experience

  • Successful completion of Honeywell classroom and/or on the job certification or qualification programs is required once hired.

  • Analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts

  • Complete work, follow up and appropriate reporting on responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting skills.

  • Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity
