Pay Range: $32.00 hr - $40.00 hr

Our Field Technician is responsible for the following:
  • Assembles and services all types of equipment.
  • Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required in the set-up and delivery process.
  • Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
  • Participation on on-call program
  • Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
  • Maintains a clean truck.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
  • Maintains current product knowledge of all equipment, parts, and services available to customer accounts.
  • Never operate any equipment you are not properly trained on and have not inspected prior to using: for example but not limited to vehicles, tractors, forklifts, mowers, drill press, grinder, hydraulic press, welders, and other general equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
  • 4 7 years experience (or equivalent) performing service repairs.
  • Knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment as well as technology trends/advancements is a plus.
  • Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
  • Ability to maintain labor performance and billable hours according to Service Leaders.
  • Sound knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by the Dealership.
