Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor Position in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology (Basic Science) | Columbia University - Military Veterans

The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University seeks highly qualified individuals for two junior tenure-track or established tenured faculty positions (open rank) in cell biology. The department is home to 50 research groups with a wide variety of research interest, including cell biology, cancer biology, neurodegeneration, metabolism and diabetes, and stem cell biology. All positions require outstanding academic credentials and a record of scholarly productivity. Candidates with a Ph.D. and/or M.D. and expertise in any aspect of cell biology and molecular mechanisms of disease will be considered. Areas of particular interest include: Membrane Trafficking Organelle Biology Cell Adhesion and Motility Molecular Pathogenesis of Disease Individuals with expertise in the following will be highly competitive: Cell Engineering Spatial Transcriptomics Single Cell Sequencing Computational Biology Genomic Pathology Significant start-up packages will be available to successful candidates who we expect will develop dynamic research programs and participate in graduate teaching.
