Job Summary
Under direction and guidance of brand marketing leadership, the Associate Marketing Manager will assist in leading the development and execution for assigned product categories in the Consumer Marketing Division. Act as the category leader for a range of product lines managing the product development and portfolio activities - leading the development of marketing, innovation and product commercialization. This Associate Marketing Manager will work closely with product managers and brand marketers to help drive company profitability growth.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of go-to-market strategic plans in conjunction with brand marketing lead for a portfolio of product lines across the retail team including developing and marketing new product categories, sales channels, and pricing strategies.
  • Work with digital team, creative services, external resources and brand marketing team to develop marketing tools and campaigns for selling across ecommerce and retail brick-and-mortar stores.
  • Interpret category data, consumer insights and segment trends to identify product and competitive strengths and weaknesses, identify growth opportunities and defense strategies as needed.
  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate and ensure on-time execution for our Branded process including Medline Product Management, Creative Services, Inventory Management, Regulatory & Quality teams and 3rd party agencies to ensure project is executed on time from beginning to end.
  • Manage the innovation pipeline, development and launch timeline, which encompass the product, packaging, and customer communications for all branded products.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in the development and execution of brand and product initiatives to ensure proper and timely customer communication
  • Participate in developing and giving customer presentations as needed.


Requirements:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
Experience
  • 1-2 years marketing experience.
  • Experience in product management, marketing, or other related business function is a plus.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data and presenting recommendations is a plus.
  • Experience in influencing, coordinating and working with individuals in multiple functional areas without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and perform in ambiguous circumstances.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior management.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. Ability to take the steps to ensure the assignment/ project is accomplished within tight timeframes.
  • Microsoft Office working knowledge.

Medline also has served as an Environmental Protection Agency SmartWay® Transport partner for the past 10 years, tracking and sharing information on the company’s fuel use and freight emissions.
