Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer. This role is based out of our Waukesha, WI location.
The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for carefully monitoring the overall quality of manufactured products. They rigorously test processes and enforce uncompromising quality standards. The engineer is also responsible for creating detailed documentation, designing strict quality tests, and setting clear criteria for test results. Quality Engineers maintain high-quality standards and decisively address any issues that arise. They work alongside a team of professionals to ensure that final products consistently meet and exceed customer expectations while optimizing the manufacturing process to be both efficient and cost-effective.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you’ll do:
- Develops and implements quality standards and control systems.
- Monitors and analyze quality performance.
- Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Collaborate with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that all raw materials meet organizational quality standards.
- Interpret customer feedback for identifying flaws in manufactured goods and suggest/implement changes wherever needed.
- Monitor employee training and safety standards followed as a part of manufacturing process.
- Analyze and document potential issues in production process and design methods to fix them.
- Stay updated about the legal standards and regulations for manufactured products and ensure compliance to those standards.
- Improve customer satisfaction and brand loyalty through quality consistent products.
- Collate data and prepare quality reports to analyze external and internal quality standards.
- Lead cross functional teams during root cause analysis event
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering field from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of Quality or Manufacturing experience
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- +5 years Quality engineering experience
- Understanding of problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s)
- Experience in electrical testing procedures, protocols, and mathematic principles
- Project Management experience
- Demonstrated ability to interpret regulation and standards, and implementing Electrical Safe Work practices such NFPA 70E.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and trouble shoot electrical control, protection, instrumentation, and metering schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience supporting Engineered to Order (ETO) manufacturing plant.

• Position requires supporting operations 24/7, as worked out on collaborative team schedule of controls engineers & technicians.
