Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Drafter III. The position will be based at our facility in Lincoln, IL.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $52499.97 - $76999.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
- Performs design and maintenance of product drawings.
- Drafts new product drawings using AutoCAD and 3-D software.
- Performs maintenance to update existing product drawings.
- Furnishes engineers with necessary prints and information.
- Maintains, monitors and procures office supplies.
- Participates in department cost reduction projects.
- Performs special drafting assignments upon request including plant layouts.
- Supports design engineers in product design projects.
- Adheres to all facility safety guidelines and identifies potential hazards to reduce or eliminate them.
- Sets up and performs and supports test reporting for UL procedures and files.
- Maintains organization and cleanliness in work area and supports all procedures set forth to assure product and process quality and plant manufacturing principles.
- The incumbent must stay up to date on computer software used in drafting.
- Responsibilities include conformance to Environmental Management System Requirements.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Minimum 1 year of technician, engineering or drafting experience required
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Two years post high school education or Associate's degree from an accredited institution
• Experience with engineering systems and procedures.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or other engineer software.
• Experience with products and manufacturing procedures and processes.
