Full Job Description:
Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a RF Engineer to join a growing team in support of a government agency. This position will be operate on a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office, located in Syracuse, NY.
Responsibilities/Overview:
Hardware Engineering
Provide support to on-going Hardware Development, Integration and Test activities including:
• Hardware trade studies
• Hardware analyses
• Hardware design
• Hardware engineering support to production programs (factory following)
• Hardware test development and validation
• Hardware integration
• Participate in engineering technical reviews
• Document work and artifacts in Engineering Data SDRL
Radio Frequency Hardware Testing
Provide support to on-going Hardware Engineering activities including:
• Integration procedure development
• Hardware Problem Report (PR) initiation and processing
• Hardware Test Dry Runs
• Hardware Test execution
• Development of desktop regression test procedures and tools
• Document test procedures and test results
• Participate in engineering technical reviews
• Document work and artifacts in Engineering Data SDRL
Required Qualifications:
- SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience with the following.
• Experience with MATLAB, Linux, Schematic Capture & Layout Design.
• Experience with Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, HFSS or equivalent.
• Experience with Design Validation Testing of RF circuits and systems.
Compensation and Benefits:
· $135,000-$200,000+ dependent on experience. Relocation Bonus offered.
