Summary of Responsibility:
Reporting to our Florida location in Tampa, FL this is an entry level sales position with a long runway for growth. This role will provide outstanding on the job training, mentoring and development opportunities with a dynamic company in a fast-paced, growing industry. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing sales support to our capital sales team while supplementing our customers with technical information and products required to improve productivity of their machine tools. This role collaborates with Capital Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, Service, Contract Administration, technology suppliers and management to provide follow-up and ancillary products for our customers.
What You Will Contribute:
- Developing customer relationships to ensure all needs are met from pre-sale through complete integration of new machine tools.
- Acting as the central knowledge base for accessories including work holding and tooling.
- Responding to customer or field staff’s inputs, product requests, and application issues
- Identify and cultivate relationships with technology partners to support customers and field staff
- Maintain involvement with customer related projects to support future technology improvements, deadlines, and budgets
- Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company

Qualifications & Competencies:
Completion of either a manufacturing trade school certificate program, a two-year college degree or work equivalent.- Some working knowledge and understanding of CNC machine technology and applications.
- Basic manufacturing technology, tooling and part inspection is desired.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Frequent travel throughout a regional sales territory is necessary.
