The Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine seeks a Psychiatrist to serve on the General Adult Inpatient Service at Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital (YNHPH). The General Adult unit is a 24 bed inpatient unit. There are opportunities to follow patients in an outpatient program as well for continuity of care and access to Interventional Psychiatric Services including ECT and Ketamine. The successful candidate will have completed a residency in psychiatry leading to board certification. Experience with Dual Diagnosis population or Addictions fellowship is preferred. We are seeking a Psychiatrist with a minimum of five years of clinical experience who is ready toassumea leadership role. There will be protected time to devote to research and scholarship. This position carries a faculty appointment within the Department of Psychiatry at the assistant or associate professor level depending upon the candidate?s qualifications and experience.
