Job Summary
The role of the Parts Counter Sales Representative is to provide exceptional customer service to all walk-in and phone customers with their heavy equipment parts and attachment needs
Essential Functions
- Assist customers to determine necessary parts needed for their John Deere and Non-Deere equipment
- The ability to lookup part numbers through Parts Advisor with model and serial numbers given by customer
- Process sales orders and purchase orders until final invoicing is executed
- Review all open orders daily
- Communicate with customer on order status
- Assist in all areas of parts department as needed
- Maintain a professional, safe and clean work environment
Qualifications
- At least 2 years heavy equipment or automotive parts related experience.
- Mechanical aptitude a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have an outgoing and positive personality
- Strong computer skills.
- Bilingual English / Spanish
- Knowledge of CDK / Intellidealer system is a plus
Typical Physical Activity
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds from floor to chest; reach and use the arms with a full range of motion; endure prolonged sitting ,standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and squatting
Typical Environmental Conditions
Employee regularly works indoors. May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity.
