Assembler Technician (I - IV) - (Saugerties, NY)
The Assembly Technician is responsible for putting together various parts based on mechanical prints and other visuals using both hand and power tools.
- First Shift Hours: 7am - 3:30pm
- Applies knowledge to identify parts that do not meet industry standards through testing and visual inspection throughout the build process
- Modifies various parts using both hand and power tools to meet the needs of each specific build
- Maintains appropriate communication with supervisor to ensure efficient and timely production
- Completes and submits time costing sheet documentation each day with the relevant service, project, and billing information
- Maintains a professional manner to enhance the company's image with customers
- Follows any safety regulations necessary and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Cleans working area prior to leaving each job
- Attends and participates in departmental or company meetings
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Complete routine tasks according to departmental policies and procedures
- Work with direct supervision
- Other duties may be assigned
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Work well in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Practices department and company-wide continuous improvement
- Willingness to train in multiple disciplines to drive company-wide cross-functionality
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous production or related work experience preferred
