Your Role
We are seeking several Inside Sales Support positions as part of our Atlas Copco's Sales Development Program.
The ideal candidate(s) will be hired to work in our regional office in West Springfield, MA. The position will be focused on sales support and will include many disciplines in preparing you for a career in equipment and/or aftermarket sales. You will be exposed to many facets of Atlas Copco's business and structure while in the role. Upon completion of your mission in the role, you will be prepared to apply for an Outside Sales position that suits your competence as well as your training and product knowledge.

While working as an Inside Sales Support role, you will develop your sales skills by:
- Building skills suited for sales, marketing, applications, and account management.
- Working with Regional Sales Managers to learn sales strategies and practices
- Shadowing Service Technicians to gain intimate knowledge of the equipment and its applications
- Shadowing engineers to learn compressed air applications and system dynamics.
- Meetings with other Sales Trainees and previous program grads that allow for team building and mentorship.
Travel
Formal training will be conducted at our headquarters in Rock Hill, SC. You must be willing and able to travel between our Rock Hill, SC office.
To succeed, you will need
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be a new or recent college graduate with a BS in Engineering, Industrial Distribution or Business/Marketing with appropriate technical background/skill. Candidates with previous air compressor experience preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrable hands-on technical skill and abilities.
- Must be self-disciplined and able to work independently, yet willing to ask for help when needed.
- Must possess strong communication skills including phone, email, meetings, classroom, etc.
- Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office 365
Day to day tasks will include the following. These tasks will not be required every day but will be part of the learning process throughout the duration of program.

- Quote/Proposal Creation
- Order Tracking and customer follow up
- Marketing Campaigns
- Market Study/Analysis
