Postdoctoral Associate (Full Time) Allen Lab | Donald Danforth Plant Science Center - Military Veterans
at Herc - South Midwest
The Allen USDA lab at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in collaboration with others is seeking a graduating PhD student or postdoc to fill a postdoctoral position in the lab focused on seed metabolism and carbon partitioning that leads to enhanced productivity and altered resource partitioning to valued products in plants. The incumbents will learn and perform biochemical measurements to assess seed composition and metabolic flux with isotopic labeling as part of a collaborative multi-investigator grant. Training in plant molecular biology, biochemistry, metabolism and mass spectrometry would be highly beneficial for a motivated learner. Interested candidates should provide a resume, cover letter and names of three references online through the link. The incumbent would be expected to start by Jan 1 or sooner if possible.
