Job Description: The Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life ( FSL ) is responsible for the daily administration of FSL programs at Ashland University and is a key member of the Student Affairs team. This is a twelve (12) month position. Administer a Greek system which supports the mission of Fraternity & Sorority Life ( FSL ), the university, and the ideals of the inter/national Greek organizations. Advise the College Panhellenic Council ( CPH ) and Interfraternity Council ( IFC ), consisting of four (4) NPC Sororities and three (3) IFC Fraternities. Mentor and advise chapter presidents through individual meetings and monthly president roundtable discussions. Supervise FSL student intern. Advise Order of Omega. Coordinate all-Greek programs such as Movers & Shakers, Greek Recruitment, FSL 101, National Hazing Prevention Week, Greek Lip Sync, Emerging Greek Leaders' Summit, Greek Weekend, Greek Honors and Leadership & Service Awards. Manage CampusDirector system as it relates to Panhellenic recruitment. Communicate regularly with chapter advisors, national offices, National Panhellenic Conference and North-American Interfraternity Conference. Oversee marketing materials, social media, and website. Provide resources and/or design and implement programs on topics such as officer training, membership development, liability management, hazing prevention, conflict resolution, etc. Serve as investigator for FSL related student conduct concerns in collaboration with the Student Conduct Office. Conduct assessment of council and chapter programs to ensure continuous progress. Oversee FSL Event Registration processes through Engage and manage the All- FSL Calendar. Maintain accurate membership rosters to calculate retention and grade reports for FSL . Oversee budgets for FSL and student leadership while practicing sound fiscal management. Serve as Title IX Deputy Coordinator. Assist with Summer Orientation, Orientation Weekend and Welcome Week events.
