The role is of a Senior Consultant - F&A assists clients to determine their business issues, recommend and deliver feasible and viable solutions to drive business value. It uses in-depth business process understanding along with domain knowledge aligned to business objectives, processes, measurements and tools to analyze client business challenges, formulate hypotheses and test conclusions to determine appropriate solutions using new age digital technologies such as RPA, AI/ ML, analytics etc.
Responsibilities
- Working on Finance Transformation Consulting opportunities - F&A Process Improvement areas that will be specific to clients or broader industry problems such as Month-End/Period-End Closing, Working Capital Optimization, AP/AR Transformation, F&A Shared Services Operating Model Analysis/Consulting, etc.
- Participate and deliver complex Innovation & Transformation engagements in understanding current business challenges, perform fit gap analysis, and develop solutions using various improvement levers such as best practices, benchmarks, RPA automation, Intelligent automation, analytics etc.
- The role requires a strong consulting skill, Industry domain expertise in Finance, business acumen and understanding of digital technologies in AR/AP and Accounting
- Bring in-depth knowledge and project experience in driving accounting re-process design engagements
- Demonstrated experienced working with complex business process outsourcing and/or shared services operations
- Lead and participate large-scale transformation projects. Work proactively with Client stakeholders to re-imagine their current business processes by deploying digital technologies and/or develop a new operating model in line with competitive and market forces
Basic
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in the job description
Preferred
- Strong Consulting and Finance and Accounting skills & demonstrated experience in driving digital transformation efforts in business processes.
- Prior experience in driving automation initiative by conducting business process reviews to identify the use cases for automation.
- Knowledge of leading RPA & BPM products such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Work Fusion, UI path, Pega etc.
- Has introduced solutions such as Blackline, HighRadius, Ariba, etc.
- Has experience with SAP/Oracle products
- Strong client Interfacing and relationship skills
- Presentation and Communication skills
This position may require extensive travel.
