The Department of Physics & Astronomy ( http://dornsife.usc.edu/physics/ ) at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position in theoretical condensed matter physics. The successful candidate will establish a dynamic research program focused on modeling and analyzing quantum systems, particularly those involving out-of-equilibrium phenomena, strong interactions, and topological effects, through advanced mathematical and analytical methods. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in theoretical physics and have demonstrated their ability to conduct innovative and independent research. The anticipated start date is Fall of 2025.
