Additional Information About the Role

BJC HealthCare is seeking an Editorial Strategist who is experienced  in crafting compelling and strategic copy for diverse advertising and marketing campaigns. This position will ensure alignment with product strategy and effectively target the desired audience. Strong project coordination and executive presence is needed in the role. Ideal candidates will have previous healthcare marketing experience. 

Remote opportunity, candidates should be able to travel for quarterly meetings onsite.

Role Purpose

Develops conceptual and persuasive copy for company advertising, marketing initiatives, and collateral. Ensures that copy is aligned with product strategy and addresses the right target audience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops conceptual and persuasive copy for company advertising and marketing initiatives. Ensures that copy is aligned with product strategy and addresses the right target audience. Responsible for managing projects and meeting tight deadlines for internal clients. Possesses exceptional writing skills and the ability to contribute to creative content used for a wide range of communications, advertising and marketing materials including print, digital media, television, and outdoor. May also conduct brainstorming sessions for the copywriting team. Requires copywriting experience in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Innovates content strategies to achieve business objectives; advises senior management.
  • Translates complex content needs into comprehensive marketing plans.
  • Advises senior management on content and messaging strategies.
  • Manages large-scale content initiatives; mentors and guides junior staff.
