Work Flexibility: Field-Based



Location: Houston & Surrounding Area


Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)


Travel: 80% (Local and Overnight)

What You Will Do:


The Associate Field Service Engineer will interact with customers, company sales and service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions. The Associate Field Service Engineer will receive customer requests and prepare documents/trouble tickets related to processing returns (RMA), servicing and exchanges. Additionally, the Associate Field Service Engineer will be responsible for updating databases with status of returned materials issues and accounts for returns inventory, and record and report the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules. You may also schedule field service repair calls and handle requests for additional company materials.



Additional responsibilities may require you to:



  • ​​Perform on-site installations, preventive maintenance, and repair of highly complex CT Imaging medical equipment.

  • Verify and approve the operational quality of Stryker systems and equipment and serve as a Stryker ambassador with key customers. 

  • Coordinate and execute, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of AIRO-CT Scanner Systems both in-house, and in the field.

  • ​Manage schedule, work calendar and travel schedule with support from team lead / supervisor  

  • ​Prepare and submit applicable field service documentation in a complete, accurate and timely manner, including field service reports, expense reports and service checklists. 

  • Travel and assist in other Field Service team members territories.

  • Instruct/train customers on technical operation and maintenance of equipment, software and hardware upgrades/updates, installation, and maintenance of equipment at conventions, road shows, and cadaver labs or seminars as required.​​ 

  • Maintain records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes and product pricing, and resolve return credit problems.



What You Need:


​​​​ Required:



  • ​​Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Technology, or equivalent-related civilian and/or military experience required. 

  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license 


Preferred:


  • ​Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.​​​​
