THE WORK

As a Subcontract Management Senior, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex global subcontract relationships. Your focus will be on civil work services, equipment installation, and integration, working across multiple GBAS programs for both commercial and defense sectors. This role requires you to develop subcontract specifications, negotiate contracts, manage cost, schedule, and performance, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure project success. You’ll be leading subcontract management teams, navigating international partnerships, and ensuring seamless collaboration across diverse teams and regions. With approximately 15% international travel, this position offers you a dynamic, hands-on experience in global subcontracting.

You are an experienced subcontract management professional with a strong foundation in civil work services and supplier coordination. You have a proven track record of managing complex subcontracts on a global scale, negotiating with international suppliers, and driving performance across cost, schedule, and technical requirements. You are a problem solver with exceptional communication skills, capable of leading teams and ensuring collaboration across multiple functions. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can adapt to changing demands, and are excited about the opportunity to travel internationally and work with diverse teams.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in supply chain, contracts, proposals, procurement, or contract negotiation especially on civil work effort
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills
• Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
• Familiarity with SAP/P2P enterprise resource planning software
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Team oriented with demonstrated organizational skills
• Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters which often requires coordination between functional organizations
• Ability to understand construction drawings and bids
• Experience managing international suppliers and subcontracts
Desired Skills:
• Experience leading a cross functional team
• Customer-focused and team-oriented
• Strong negotiation skills
• Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering as they relate to subcontract management

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $74,700 - $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
