Summary
- The Operations Support Leadership Specialist is a clinical leader who provides agency office support with subject matter expertise in key agency office roles including Executive Director, Director of Clinical Operations, and Patient Care Manager. This position may also provide training and support for operational processes for clinical roles including Executive Directors, Directors of Clinical Operations, Patient Care Managers, Business Managers, and field staff.
- This role will support both newly acquired agencies (integration support) and existing agencies across the company.
- Working as operational change agents, operational improvement experts and operations trainers, the Operations Support Leadership Specialist onboards new agencies to the company and supports existing agencies in performing to LHC’s best practice operational standards and expectations. This includes working to ensure all administrative support and data entry functions are operating effectively and efficiently within assigned locations.
- The Specialist’s work activities will require both onsite (travel) and remote support depending on the specific agency’s needs.
- Additionally, the Specialist will support organizational software testing, training and operational implementation including teaching the electronic medical record functionality.
Up to 80% travel required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing duties defined by the Executive Director, Director of Clinical Operations, and Patient Care Manager job descriptions.
- Provides on-site or remote support based on agency needs and in coordination with local and regional leadership.
- Work as operational change agents using key change management tools including communication, obtaining feedback from agency staff, advising agencies as internal customers, providing encouragement and data to support change.
- Work as operational improvement experts using knowledge of LHC standard operating procedures, metrics, reporting and other key performance indicators to identify root causes, work to begin improvement, consult with and/or advise agency leadership during assignment and coach for improvement.
- Works as a new agency integration specialist – specifically onboards new agencies and operationally supports them in performing to LHC’s best practice operational standards and expectations.
- Works as operational trainer – specifically teaching agency office-based and field professionals LHC’s operational processes and policies. This includes collaborating with agency teams to identify training needs, develop and implement training plans. Creates content for training materials for agency and/or LHC as needed.

Education and Experience

- At least 3-years healthcare experience, or 3 year experience in an office administration role or a bachelor’s degree required.
Education & Experience:
- Current RN licensure in state of practice with at least 1 year experience as a leader in home health or hospice care. Compact licensure strongly preferred.
License Requirements:
- Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
- CA: One year prior professional nursing experience.
- LA: At a minimum, one year of clinical experience. RN licensure must have no restrictions.
