Responsibilities
- Temporary position for approximately eight months
- Three 12 Hr Shift 4:50pm to 5:00am (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)
- $2.25/hr shift differential; profit sharing bonus eligible
- Report to Shift Coordinator
- Promote a Safe & Productive team work environment
- Train new employees
- Assist in managing the resources of the shift to ensure all goals are achieved
- Oversee operators for compliances, supplies & assistance.
- Communicate between shifts to anticipate & prepare for any production concerns
- Interface with Sales Support staff & Molding departments for production requirements.
- Assist in preparation & set up of printers &/or baggers for daily operations
- Safely operate equipment in a manner to ensure a maximum product throughput and minimum downtime
- Load/reload hoppers with unfinished product to ensure a continuous operation if needed.
- Enter orders in Mattec
- Monitor operators for safe and quality operations.
- Report any non-conformances to Shift Coordinator
- Document and report substandard production
- Perform routine housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance as assigned/required.
- Also assign responsibilities to operators to help maintain these items.
- Uphold Safety Absolutes
- Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
- Capable of lifting up to 35lbs repeatedly.
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Bump Cap or Hard Hat, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection and Disposable Mask.
- Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working required overtime.
- High School Graduate or equivalent and minimum of 1 year with company or minimum of 2 years in offset printing manufacturing facility
- Basic computer skills
- Work in a safe manner
- Must be able to lead and direct people.
