Job Summary and Qualifications
Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist. You will take radiographs (x-rays) of patients which will assist physicians in diagnoses and treatment and perform procedures accurately and in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Radiology Tech may include:
- You will possess sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment including surgical, portable, trauma, general and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures.
- You will obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images assuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation utilizing appropriate lead markers as well as date and time stickers where indicated
- You will select proper and accurate technical factors and techniques to accommodate patient and assist in administration of contrast media when indicated.
- You will prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated.
- You will document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
- You will maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist.
- You will check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree
- State Registered Radiologic Technician, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
