Office Administrator - Military Veterans

Job Description

We are looking for an Office Administrator who will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our office. This position encompasses a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks, such as processing payroll, supporting HR functions, and coordinating installation jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with HR duties such as maintaining employee records, onboarding new hires, and addressing employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate installation jobs by liaising with various departments to ensure timely and efficient job completion.
  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones, handling correspondence, maintaining office supplies, and managing schedules.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, proposals, and other necessary documents.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with payroll processing and HR duties.
  • Knowledge of office management software and databases.
  • Experience in a construction or related industry is a plus.
