Project Manager - US - Military Veterans

Infosys is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) well versed in Java, Springboot, Microservices or Python, Golang and related backend technologies. As a TPM, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Client Engagement on various technical discussions and solutions, Help keeping client teams updated with the latest technical implementations etc. Also, you will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 8 years of Relevant Information Technology experience

- Location for this position is Phoenix, AZ. This position may require travel to project/client location.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience of project analysis, designing, planning and development
- At least 7 years of experience in Agile Knowledge of ceremonies such as Sprint initiation, Scrums, Retrospective and closures. Along with that should also be good in pinpointing areas of improvement and implementing changes to optimize future cycles
- At least 7 years of exposure to any of the backend technology streams such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, Golang etc.
- At least 8 years of experience in leading and managing the large teams for effective solution-oriented approach of software development
- At least 8 years of experience of managing the resources and project budgets etc.
- Good understanding of technical landscapes and aspects of the projects. Should help client team with software design, architecture, and integration points to help achieve the project goals
- Good Communication – Should be good in communication. Should act as bridge between development teams and the client stakeholders
- Integration management – TPM to ensure project components integrate seamlessly, ensuring smooth functionality and interoperability
- Researching new technologies for projects and maintaining them for future references
- Experience and knowledge of at least one of the following Document based DBs - Cassandra, Couchbase, Redis, MySQL, MongoDB etc.
- Good knowledge about continuous integration tools e.g. GIT, Jenkins, XLR etc.
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
