Process Engineering Co-op - Spring 2025

The Role:
Our site in Bedford is seeking three Process Engineering Co-ops to join our teams for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
These Co-Ops will work closely with process engineers to support the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and improvements to existing ones. The co-op will assist in the creation of CAD designs and provide advanced manufacturing knowledge to support process engineers. This role will aid the process engineer in driving process improvements, maintaining SOPs and training, and supporting the day to day troubleshooting and work on the line.

In this role, you will:
• Collaborate with manufacturing

• Support process engineers in the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and improvements to existing equipment
• Collaborate with vendors for process trials
• Design experiments for process development projects
• Inspect trial parts to evaluate process capability
• Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols in manufacturing area and labs
• Explore new technologies and methods for processing and metrology

You're a good fit if you have:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering

• Data driven and hands on approach

• Comfortable with MS Excel

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
• Passion for process engineering and advanced manufacturing
• Knowledge of Minitab and CAD software
• Experience with statistical analysis, data integration and automation development.

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
• Graduating in 2025
