Bulk sales representative - Military Veterans

The Bulk Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and managing existing client accounts in the bulk transportation sector. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, industry knowledge, and customer relationship management skills to drive revenue growth and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Identify and target potential clients within the bulk transportation market.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing excellent customer service.
Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to discuss their transportation needs and provide tailored solutions.
Sales Operations:

Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals and secure contracts.
Monitor and manage sales pipelines to ensure timely follow-up and deal closure.
Collaboration:

Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of transportation services and adherence to client requirements.
Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted at bulk transportation clients.
Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
Reporting and Analysis:

Track and report on sales performance, including metrics such as sales volume, revenue, and client acquisition.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the trucking or logistics industry, with a focus on bulk transportation.
Strong understanding of bulk transportation logistics, including regulations, best practices, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a strong work ethic.


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
