Location: Rochester, New York 14623 (Work From Home on Thursdays and Fridays)

Pay Rate: USD $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

Employment Period: September 30, 2024 – April 25, 2025

Work Schedule
-Regular Hours: Monday to Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM EST
-Fridays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST with rotations on night shifts (expect to work one Friday night per month)

Work From Home: Thursdays and Fridays

Training Program
-Duration: Two weeks
-Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Post-Training:
-Two additional weeks on day shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) before transitioning to night shifts.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Specialist to join our team in Rochester, NY. In this role, you will play a critical part in mitigating credit risk exposure by reviewing incoming clients utilizing our payroll services. You will provide advanced client service and technical product support to both internal and external partners, ensuring timely and accurate problem resolution while safeguarding our financial interests.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Risk Management:
-Complete reviews of incoming clients using our payroll services.
-Approve or deny credit authorizations, payments, or termination decisions.
-Prepare recommendations for management on items exceeding.
-Conduct credit reviews on new payroll clients.
-Review and interpret credit reports (Equifax, Experian) and financial data for credit decisions.

Fraud Prevention:
-Identify and research potentially fraudulent clients.
-Escalate positive fraud matches to supervisors and the fraud investigations group.
-Conduct daily reviews to identify potential matches to previously terminated clients for non-payment.

Client Relations:
-Diffuse difficult client concerns and notify management of critical situations.
-Research and resolve product and service issues, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Continuous Improvement:
-Participate in product-related projects and training sessions.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all product offerings, regulatory changes, policy changes, and industry developments.

Minimum Experience:
-At least 2 years of relevant experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, or a related field.

Skills:
-Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
-Excellent client service and communication skills.
-Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
-Proficiency in interpreting credit reports and financial data.
