Position Specific Description
NextEra Energy IT is seeking an Agile Delivery Manager with specialized expertise in accounts payable functions. This role involves end-to-end support for capital project needs and financial operations, particularly within the FI-GL/AP and Logistics Invoice Verification areas of SAP HANA ERP.Theideal candidate will be a top-tier expert in the Accounts Payable processes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide SAP HANA FI/CO functional leadership on S4 HANA ERP projects to ensure timely and effective project execution.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of new development and/or technology pertaining to project(s) in the SAP ECC FI/CO space
• Owns the planning, estimation, design, configuration, testing, and production release on financial projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas.
• Interacts with business leadership and key stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate effort/cost, prioritize work, develop enhancements, coordinate testing, and perform change management.
• Trains and coaches leaders, teams, individua contributors, and consultants within area of discipline. Has direct reports.
• Promotes and encourages collaboration and transparency and builds trusting relationships between business, delivery, and other entities within the organization
• Manages program and release backlogs, as well as team and program objectives
• Tracks, promotes, and publishes completed program initiatives, epics and business value metrics following Agile methodology
• Manages risk and dependencies, communicates and escalates impediments to facilitate transparency, and reduces bottlenecks
• Ensures adherence to -/+ 5% say/do ratio to budget
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 6 years of SAP FICO functional experience in FICO core modules including FI-GL/AP/Logistics Invoice Verification
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience configuring SAP FICO modules:AP and Logistics Invoice Verification
• At least 3-5 years' extensive experience in supporting Incoming PO and Non-PO Invoices/Credit Memos and Outgoing Payments in SAP Systems (ECC, HANA)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Must have at least 2-3 full life cycle SAP ERP implementations.
• CPA and / or MBA is a plus.
• Strong Experience in integration with other SAP modules including Materials Management and Sales and Distribution.
• Experience in SAP integration with external Tax Software OIDT, Vertex.
• Experience with Invoice-intake from OCR solutions, Ariba and batch interfaces
• Understand of the Logistic invoice process including matching/verification, tolerances, taxes and ERS strongly desired.
• Experience with multiple payment mediums including check, ACH and wire
• Strong understanding of electronic payment formats, IDOC, EDI and XML.
• Understanding of check escheatment processes is a plus
• Experience implementing ECC to S4 projects is strongly preferred.
• Experience with the Agile development methodology and tools such as Atlassian Jira software is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

- Prepares program and release backlogs, as well as team and program objectives
- Tracks, promotes, and publishes completed program features and program and team objectives
- Manages risk and dependencies, communicates and escalates impediments to facilitate transparency, and reduces bottlenecks
- Embraces a continuous improvement mindset, and drives the use of agile engineering best practices and innovation
- Reports on standardized program-level metrics, and understands, tracks, and operates within the program budget
- Plays an instrumental role in the organization's Agile transformation, acts as a change agent, and shows strong leadership skills with a positive and collaborative attitude
