Job Summary and Qualifications
The Manager - Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Engineering will orchestrate our organization's IGA program and spearhead the design, implementation, and safeguarding of our identity governance and administration systems. As the Manager of IGA Engineering, you will be accountable for guiding a team of IGA professionals, steering the development and amplification of IGA solutions, and guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will unite with cross-functional teams, including IT administrators, security analysts, and business stakeholders, to formulate and uphold identity governance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Pilot and deploy a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for application onboarding into the IGA system, synchronizing with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Unite with application owners and stakeholders to elicit requirements, assess access needs, and define appropriate IGA controls and policies.
- Design and implement streamlined processes and workflows for application onboarding, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Oversee the configuration and customization of IGA systems and tools to integrate applications, enabling accurate provisioning and deprovisioning of user access.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with the IGA framework, addressing any technical challenges or issues.
- Stay abreast of emerging IGA trends, technologies, and best practices, making recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement, promoting IGA best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IGA tools and services, ensuring effective service delivery and value for money.
- Communicate progress, risks, and achievements related to application onboarding to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Cultivate a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement, championing IGA best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Manage vendor relationships related to IGA tools and services ensuring effective service delivery.
- Perform code reviews with team members to stretch and create high performing engineers, while ensuring the highest quality of deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree Information Technology or other applicable degree
- 7+ years of experience in Identity & Access or Information Technology job role
- 3+ years of experience in Management job role
Other Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Microsoft (C#, ASP.net, MS-SQL, Active Directory, Azure, Entra ID) Java / Oracle (Java, Angular, Oracle)
- Excellent knowledge in Database design, Data Warehousing ETLs, t-SQL performance improvement with large datasets exceeding 1 Million rows, Index tuning, and stored procedures
- Strong Knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript, URL coding, JSON, XML, SOAP, and Rest API
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of identity governance and administration concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with IGA tools and IAM technologies, such as Saviynt and Imprivata.
- Understanding of industry regulations and frameworks related to identity and access management, such as HIPAA and HITECH.
- Strong understanding of network and system security principles and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex access control scenarios and develop appropriate solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications in identity and access management (e.g., CISSP, CISM, IAM-specific certifications) are highly desirable.
