VFC Field Representative | University of California San Francisco - Military Veterans

VFC Field Representative uses professional health education concepts. Applies Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program requirements and recommendations to resolve a variety of issues. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. The Health Educator 2 (HE2) is responsible for assessing immunization coverage rates, and compliance with federal and state requirements of the VFC program and promoting best practices for immunization services. A major component of the position is providing comprehensive education on requirements and best practices and working with sites to identify and implement activities to improve immunization coverage rates. The HE acts as a liaison between the participating provider and the VFC Program, the Immunization Registries, and other staff, services and programs at the Immunization Branch. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
