Shipping Receiving Warranty Return Center Supervisor - Military Veterans

Eaton’s Mobility Division is currently seeking a Shipping Receiving Warranty Returns Center Supervisor, located at our Galesburg, MI facility.
The Warranty Return Center Supervisor will be responsible to lead, facilitate and coordinate the warranty part return, part test and material distribution processes in the Galesburg, MI; Anderson, IN and Brampton, Ontario Warranty Return Centers. This activity is to support the claims administration processes for Vehicle Group – Truck products with our respective channel customers (OEM’s, dealers, national accounts/fleets). This position will also be responsible for the process deployment and management of the Shipping and Receiving function for the Galesburg Campus and Anderson Warranty Return Center.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $88499.97 - $129799.96 a year.

What you’ll do:
- Manages team of direct reports responsible for the warranty part return and component testing procedures to safely support the warranty administration processes for Vehicle Group – Truck products with our respective channel customers (OEM, dealer, National Accounts/fleets).
- Lead the team to safely accomplish daily task that follows processes in meeting individual and organizational goals, functional strategic plans by recording / monitoring reporting performance metrics driving continuous improvement.
- Purchase materials and supplies that support the warranty returns and shipping processes. Lead in the identification and capital appropriation process in support of the deployment of area of responsibility (part inspection, part testing, and shipping of material).
- Manages the deployment and execution of Eaton logistics processes and procedures for the Galesburg Shipping and Receiving team and the Anderson Warranty Return Center.
- Lead in the information gathering, documentation and communication of carrier and country specific shipping requirements
- Lead in the receiving and compliance of Purchase Order receiving for the campus and the VG HQ.
- Establishes processes to ensure that the shipping and receiving team meets the hazardous material shipping regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG). Ensures all directs reports are certified/trained to achieve compliance.
- Analyzes and communicates compliance of freight bills, performance and operational costs monthly.
- Analyzes and implements corrective actions for part return, shipping and receiving issues for all internal and external customers that improves the effectiveness and efficiencies of the process deployment with accuracy.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Shipping and Receiving tracking system for the campus to both submit shipping request, identify the distribution of the freight / package, and house all shipping information and documents required for shipping and receiving.
- Acquire and deploy EBS concepts and tools to drive sustainable process improvement. Collaborate with others to transfer and/or deploy best practices across the Warranty Return Center and Shipping and Receiving landscape.
- Lead team in deploying MESH requirements and other safety focused activities. Lead Galesburg campus MESH elements as assigned within scope of current work streams and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Materials (SCM), Logistics and/or Engineering related field.
- Ability to travel up to 50% monthly
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
- No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates that reside within a 50 mile radius of Galesburg, MI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Electronic Technology, Mechanical Technology
- Experience in medium and heavy truck industry
- Experience in Logistics and/or Material management
- Customer facing skills (internal/external inclusive of senior leadership teams)
- Knowledge of truck repair facility processes

- Demonstrated leadership skills leveraging competencies and data analytics
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, various systems, and excellent computer skills

- Leads communication of product trends and emerging failures from the part return and testing process. Guides communication of trends observed in the logistics chain
