Our client near Boston, MA is looking to add an EHS Safety Coordinator for a 6 month contract opportunity. Candidates won't be required to have a degree, but should have about 4-8 years of experience working in the EHS field. This role is 100% onsite and requires around 10% of travel annually. Candidates can come from a variety of industries as long as you are familiar with walking down project sites with high risk activities and collaborating with Project Managers to make sure they have what they need. responsibilities:
- Provide EHS support to the site's Facilities and Project Management Teams.
- Collaborate with Facilities and Project Management Teams to offer guidance and support for high-risk activities.
- Support site capital projects and manufacturing plant shutdowns.
- Oversee EHS functions in manufacturing areas, warehouses, laboratories, and offices.
- Maintain EHS permits and licenses.
- Perform required inspections and investigations.
- Gather and analyze data for reports and EHS software management.
- Develop and deliver training programs.
- Assemble metrics and support sustainability initiatives.
- Focus on EHS project and program ownership.

- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 6 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)
