Rhode Island College invited applicants for the position of Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. This is a full-time, calendar year, continuing position.

The Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Rhode Island College will join the team during an exciting time at the College and will have the chance to provide transformational leadership for the Office of DEI and for the wider campus. The College is experiencing new energy and momentum, fueled by a dynamic new President, a fresh leadership team, and a bold new strategic plan. Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives, the DEI Director will lead both student and employee facing DEI efforts.

Founded in 1854, Rhode Island College is a distinctive regional college personalizing education for undergraduate and graduate students. The college serves approximately 6,400 undergraduate and graduate students through its five schools: The Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development, the School of Business, the School of Nursing and the School of Social Work. The 180-acre campus is located in beautiful, historic Providence, Rhode Islands capital, with excellent proximity to the academic and cultural resources of Boston and New York City
