Operations Analyst - Military Veterans

Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as an Operations Analyst in support of the Joint Program Office Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JPO JLTV), Program Executive Office (PEO) Combat Support and Combat Service Support (CS&CSS). This position is currently hybrid, typically with one day weekly in the office at the Detroit Arsenal. This arrangement could change based on the requirements of the government client. Other duties may be assigned to support client and contract deliverables. This position is not yet funded, position contingent upon funding award.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop executive level products, presentations, and supporting documents in support of the JPO JLTV and PEO staff.

  • Manage, assess, coordinate, complete, and report, internal and external program requirements (taskers) across the product office, higher headquarters, and external organizations.

  • Schedule, coordinate, and organize a wide variety of acquisition related meetings (including calendar management).

  • Execute all regular transaction processes necessary to maintain operations, records, and databases.

  • Coordinate and staff documents, to include (as needed) Milestone and Material Release documents.

  • Manage and coordinate internal and external program requirements (taskers) across the product office, higher headquarters, and external organizations.

  • Provide other operations support for the Product office as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and TEAMs applications.

  • 1+ years of experience with military or government operations.

  • Ability to talk and interact with people proactively.

  • Critical thinker.

  • Program Management (PM) awareness.

  • Able to move fast and adjust quickly.

  • Able to multitask.

  • Clearance: Not required for initial hire. Amentum will sponsor a SECRET security clearance, a positive adjudication/determination may be required for continued employment.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with military or government related duties.

  • Previous experience working in PEO CS&CSS or PEO Ground Combat Systems (GCS).

  • 2+ years familiarity with Operations, Administration, or Project Management preferably in a Government Acquisition program.

  • Familiarity with the tasker application LCMP or TMT.

  • Familiarity with Department of Defense Directive 5000.01.

  • Previous PM or Ops experience.

  • Clearance: a SECRET security clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Government Clearance.
