The Garland Team is seeking a Operator on Third (3) Shift.

Responsibilities
Position: Operator - Heat Treat
Shift: 3rd
Pay: $21.34 hourly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Ability to set-up and operate either furnace on the Bomb lines
- Check parts and review quality to pre-determine standards.
- Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and SOIs.
- Responsible for inputting data into CIMA system for accurate labor reporting and part tracking.
- SPC reporting as required.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate logbooks.
- Ability to use hand tools to make adjustments to mechanical devices related to the heat treat furnace.
- Knowledge and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
Skills and qualifications required including but not limited to the following:
- High school education or equivalent combination of experience
- One (1) year experience working in Heat Treat
- Knowledge and ability to use all gages and instruments required to related job tasks
- Functional math skills required to complete job tasks, communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Ability to handle parts weighing up to fifty (50) lbs. and heavier parts with the use of power devices.
- Must have normal vision or correctable to perform job tasks.
- Elevated temperatures, thick smoke, dirt and grease.
- Physically able to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Handling materials up to 900 degrees with proper tools.
- High paced production environment to meet standards.
