Class A Driver/Laborer - Military Veterans

at Phoenix Communications

As a General Laborer you will be expected to perform tasks involving physical labor for telecommunications construction projects. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, clean up rubble and debris. May assist other workers within Company.


A CDL A Driver/Laborer is responsible for day to day driving of company equipment as well as manual labor needed to support the construction operations of Phoenix Communications Inc. as well as ongoing commitment to deliver outstanding service, sustainable sales growth and financial profitability.


Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:



  • Hauling equipment to and from job sites

  • Hauling Spoils offsite

  • Delivering asphalt to site

  • Laboring as needed with the crew



Requirements



  • Valid Unrestricted CDL A Driver’s license

  • MA Hydraulics RI Hydraulics License (preferred)

  • Current OSHA 10 Certification (preferred)

  • Tri Axle Experience

  • 2 or more years of experience

  • Must be able to work any shift

  • Must have the ability to travel up to 25% of time, including overnight(s)
