Job Description

PCI is seeking a Pre-Fabrication Production Worker for its San Diego 108 Marine operations based in Chula Vista, CA. This position is responsible for participating in the prefabrication of insulation materials for marine applications. As the second member of a small production crew, he/she will report to the Production Supervisor and will assume the supervisor's responsibilities when the supervisor is off from work. He/she shall be capable of operating and maintaining all equipment in the Prefabrication Shop and shall collaborate with his/her supervisor and colleagues to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Routine job requirements:

Employee must

Attend daily safety briefings

Conduct production set-up

Operate equipment required to cut insulation

Apply glue

Adhere facing to insulation materials

Perform material handling functions, and

Participate in housekeeping.

Salary range: $20.50 an hour.

This position is safety-sensitive.
Requirements

Basic Requirements:

• 1 Year of experience
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Be 18 years or older
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Work authorization

Preferred Requirements (Technical Based/"Plus" Qualifications)

• Exposure to industrial working environment
