The Opportunity



Insitu Pacific is currently searching for an Inventory and Supply Officer to join the Brisbane team to directly support Insitu Pacific operations, engineering, maintenance and training activities.



Responsibilities





  • Warehouse activities including, but not limited to: receipt, handling (manual and operation of load shifting equipment including forklift truck), storage, packaging (including dangerous goods), dispatch and transportation of materiel; compilation of deployment kits; tracking of assets; and disposal of materiel


  • Inventory control, warranty and repair Induction and distribution, and coordinating the shipment of materiel (including dangerous goods


  • Ensuring quality control processes and practices are followed


  • Adherence to relevant OH&S policies, procedures and directives


  • Provide inventory reports on stock levels, non-conforming receipts and equipment shortage


  • Develop approval procedures and work instructions relating to role and recommend improvements where appropriate


  • Gathering data for and reporting on metrics for inventory and supply management performance relevant to role.





Experience/Qualifications



Essential





  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in warehouse duties.


  • Experience with inventory management systems.


  • Experience in shipping of materiel, including import and export requirements.


  • Current Driver's Licence and forklift ticket.


  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while working to scheduled commitments.


  • Ability to work in a team environment.


  • Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.


  • The ability to work accurately and prioritise work as required to manage external/internal resources.


  • Proven ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.





Desirable





  • Certificate III in Transport and Distribution (Warehousing).


  • Experience in warehouse duties specific to the management and accountability of aeronautical products.


  • Experience in working within a quality assurance environment.


  • Experience in working within a defence/aerospace related industry.


  • Experience working with defence MILIS inventory system but not essential





Eligibility





  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements


  • Holds or is eligible for an Australian Security Clearance at NV1 level.


  • You may require a Foreign Work Authorisation (FWA) in order to perform this role. This is not a requirement set or determined by Boeing but by the Department of Defence under laws issued in 2024. Please refer to the Department of Defence website to understand these requirements.
